An Evening with Evelyn Sterne: Michigan Notable Books Author

The Cass District Library is excited to welcome Evelyn Sterne, author of “The House of David: Salvation, Scandal, and Survival in a Modern American Commune”, as part of the 2026 Michigan Notable Books Author Tour. Join us as Sterne shares the fascinating story of The House of David, an unusual, scandal-tinged, but ultimately long-lasting religious movement founded right here in Southwest Michigan. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing at the event. Light refreshment will be provided. No registration required.
