Full Service Saturdays

The Cass District Library (CDL) is pleased to announce Full Service Saturdays at the Main and Edwardsburg Branches, effective February 28, 2026, to better serve the needs of the Cass County community.

Both the Main and Edwardsburg Branch will now be open from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Saturdays. The Edwardsburg Branch will also have expanded hours during the week, matching the hours of the Main Branch. Both branches will be open 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Friday.

Monthly Board Meetings

The Cass District Library Board holds its monthly meetings at 6:00 pm on every third Wednesday of the month. The meetings are held in the Library’s Flagg Room at the Main Branch located at 319 M-62, Cassopolis, MI 49031. Public comment will be allowed at specified times during the meeting.

In addition to board meetings, Facilities, Finance, and Personnel & Policy subcommittees meet monthly to continue our practice of good governance and fiscal responsibility.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

Read any book to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler. The goal is to read 1,000 books before your child starts kindergarten. Keep track of the titles of the books that you read with your child. Make a record of what you are reading with our reading log.
