Shelver – Edwardsburg Branch
There are currently two (2) available Shelver positions at the Edwardsburg branch.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have great customer service experience skills, as well as an appreciation for the role that public libraries play in people’s lives. This position supports the mission of the Library by shelving items as promptly as possible and keeping shelves and public areas of the library neat and orderly.

Makerspace Associate Position – Edwardsburg Branch
Job Summary:
The Makerspace Associate knows how to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot all technology and equipment in the Makerspace Room. This position is responsible for coordinating detailed procedures for reporting and safety within the makerspace for the public and staff. In addition, the Makerspace Associate advises the Branch Manager on various makerspace research, tracks inventory, and recommends purchases for ongoing makerspace operations.
The ideal candidate will have great customer service experience skills, as well as an appreciation for the role that public libraries play in people’s lives. This position requires work with a variety of software (Polaris, Google Workspace, Excel, etc.), as well as web browsers. Candidates will need a high school diploma, but some college course work is desirable. The candidate will work the check-out desk, as well as moving collection materials. Candidates must be able to push book carts and lift up to 50 pounds. The Cass District Library (CDL) is looking for team members who enjoy staying active and learning new things.
