Sealed Bid Surplus Library Property Auction

The Cass District Library will be holding a sealed bid auction of surplus library property from the former Church Street location of the Edwardsburg Branch. The auction will take place in person on Thursday, May 7 and Friday, May 8, 2026 from 10:00AM to 4:00PM at 26745 Church Street, Edwardsburg, MI. Please note that:

• -Bids must be placed in person at the above dates and times.
• -Sales are cash only, with Michigan sales tax added.
• -Items must be picked up by winners between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm on Friday, May 29.

Cass Family Clinic at the Cass District Library

The Cass Family Clinic Mobile Clinic will be at the Edwardsburg Branch every first and third Monday of the month and the Mason/Union Branch Library and Mason Township Hall every second Tuesday of the month from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Monthly Board Meetings

The Cass District Library Board holds its monthly meetings at 6:00 pm on every third Wednesday of the month. The meetings are held in the Library’s Flagg Room at the Main Branch located at 319 M-62, Cassopolis, MI 49031. Public comment will be allowed at specified times during the meeting.

In addition to board meetings, Facilities, Finance, and Personnel & Policy subcommittees meet monthly to continue our practice of good governance and fiscal responsibility.

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

Read any book to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler. The goal is to read 1,000 books before your child starts kindergarten. Keep track of the titles of the books that you read with your child. Make a record of what you are reading with our reading log.
