January Board Meeting Notice

NOTICE OF REGULAR BOARD MEETING
Cass District Library Board

January 20, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.

 THE MEETING WILL BE HELD ELECTRONICALLY.

 The Cass District Library Board will hold a regular meeting electronically on January 20, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.   Due to the capacity restrictions and social distancing requirements set forth in the MDHHS Director’s Emergency Orders and the MIOSHA Rules, the meetings will be held electronically.  Electronic participation is permitted by the Open Meetings Act, as amended by 2020 PA 228.  The purpose of the meeting will be to consider any business that may come before the Library Board. Pursuant to the OMA, the Library gives notice of the following:

  1. Reason for Electronic Meeting.  The Board is providing Board Member participation and public participation to this meeting by electronic means due to the restrictions imposed by the MDHHS Director’s Emergency Orders and MIOSHA Rules.   
  1. Procedures. The public may participate in the meeting electronically and may make public comment by participating in a Zoom meeting as follows:

  1. Contact Information.  For those people who desire to contact members of the Library Board to provide input or ask questions on any business that will come before the public body at the meeting, please contact Barbara Gordon, Library Director, at (269) 357-7822 x 101 or at bgordon@cass.lib.mi.us prior to the start of the meeting.
  1. Persons with Disabilities.  Persons with disabilities may participate in the meeting through the methods set forth in paragraph 2.  Individuals with disabilities requiring auxiliary aids or services in order to attend electronically should notify Barbara Gordon, Library Director, at (269) 357-7822 x 101 or at bgordon@cass.lib.mi.us within a reasonable time in advance of the meeting.
